The University of Tennessee wanted to ensure that Stanton Truitt signed with the Volunteers. To do so, they sent him 102 letters in one day to convince him of their desire for him to play football for Tennessee.
A little Bit too much you say? Well given how competitive recruiting is in major college football, especially in the SEC, I would say crazier shit happens that no one finds out about.
