Elvis Dumervil is not the happiest man in the NFL presently. He was released by the Broncos on Friday because he was tardy in returning his contract by six minutes. Dumerville was due $12 million for the upcoming season. The Broncos offered to give him $8 million , provided he submit the new contract by 4 pm The issue? The fax arrived at 4:06 pm, effectively ending any previous agreement.
Dumervil fired his agent the very next day and has drawn interest from several teams. It has been reported that he will re-sign with Denver, but not sure how much money he will wind up making.
