There are rumors floating around the sports world today that Dwight Freeney will sign with the Denver Broncos. Freeney, coming off one of his worst seasons, is being pushed hard to Broncos management by Peyton Manning. Denver is expected to cut ties with Elvis Dumerville due to his salary and would require a pass rusher to play alongside Von Miller.
Freeney struggled as the colts converted into a 3-4 defense and never got the hang of it. This move would make perfect sense but keep Dumerville is the better move in my opinion. No reason to ruin a good pass rush.
