Bryce Harper Wants To Become A Male Model

Bryce Harper is poised to become MLB's next big superstar and he is looking to capitalize in more ways than one. In a recent interview with the Washington Times, Harper express his desire to become MLB's poster boy. Similar to Derek Jeter or Tom Brady during their careers.

He was quoted as saying:

"I don’t want everybody to just see the baseball side of me.”

“I want everybody to see the other side of me, too — that I can be on a magazine with jeans and a T-shirt on and my hair done and things like that. I don’t want just me in my baseball hat all the time just the boring, old, ‘Look it’s Bryce Harper with eye black on again.’ I like people seeing the other side.”

I hope Harper realizes that his play will bring about all the off field endorsements and praise that guys like Jeter, Jordan, Manning, Brady, Griffey, and Rodgers have enjoyed. There is no reason to state to the public that you want to be that guy. If you want to be him then keep hitting home runs, keep working your ass off, keep playing lights out defense. And most of all, don't talk about it, be about it.
You think the guys mentioned weren't arrogant or in love with themselves? You don't think that every time they stepped on the playing field they didn't think they were the best player out there? Of course they did but they never had to say it, there play did it for them. Word to the wise young-in  keep your mouth shut and play the game.

You think your going to just show up and be on Brady or Jordan level because you hit a few homers?

C'mon bro that's a clown question.
