A Severed Goat Head Was Sent To Owner Of The Cubs
An unidentified man dropped a package off at Wrigley field early Thursday morning. When the package was opened it contained a severed goat head. Chicago Cubs employees notified authorities immediately and they verified the story through surveillance camera footage.
For those who are unfamiliar with the curse of the billy goat, the story is one Cubs fans are all too familar with. The goat is symbolic of a curse that dates to the 1945 World Series, when Chicago tavern owner Bill Sianis was denied entry to Game 4 against the Detroit Tigers with his pet goat, “Murphy.” He then cursed the team, and they haven’t won since.
