Terrell Owens Claims He Isn’t Broke
Terrell Owens is once again in the media headlines. Not for scoring touchdowns or excessive celebrations. No, these days T.O. is spending his time avoiding jail time because of lack of child support payments. Owens went on an Atlanta radio station to tell the world he was not broke. He was quoted as saying, "My broke, for the normal person, is not their broke"
Right....
Owens made over 60 million during his professional career and like most athletes he completely mismanaged his money and was taken advantage of by those he thought he could trust. Now, he is just looking for another opportunity in the NFL. Honestly, he should have gotten one this past season and someone would have been more inclined to do so if he wasn't such a pain in the ass his whole career The guy could flat out play, but he was the definition of a locker room cancer.
These types of players always have difficulty at the end of their careers because there diminished physical ability coupled with their terrible attitude has no appeal to any team. If Owens could have proved that he could be a good influence on younger players, he wouldn't have to beg for a job. I guess he should take up being a reality TV star or become a fitness trainer. His NFL days appear numbered.
