Jerry Buss has passed away at the age of 79. He has been the owner of the Los Angeles Lakers' since 1979. During his time as the owner of the 'Lake Show', he won 10 NBA championships. The Lakers played in 48% of the NBA finals during his tenure as owner. Buss purchased the Lakers and the Los Angeles Forum for 67 million dollars.
Forbes recently valued the Lakers at more than 1 Billion dollars. He also owned the Los Angeles Kings of the NHL. From a basketball perspective, Buss was one of the greatest minds the game has ever had the privilege of experiencing. He was a great man who was extremely competitive and always wanted to win.
The world lost a great individual today.
