Jose Reyes Claims Jeffrey Loria Encouraged Purchase of Home Days Before Trade

Jose Reyes is not a Fan of Jeffery Loria

Jose Reyes was not pleased when he was traded from the Miami Marlins to the Toronto BlueJays. Reyes said that owner Jeffery Loria had told his agent that he would not trade the shortstop and that he should purchase a nice home in Miami. Reyes mentioned a dinner that both he and Loria attended just days before the trade and he was still insistent on purchasing a home. 

The Marlins are a joke, they like to spend money and after it falls apart for a year they blow up the team. I'm not surprised this happened, they should just stop trying to be the Yankees and go about winning through fundamental baseball, pitching, defense and building through the farm system.
